With reference to the Legislative Decree 23 July 2021 n. 105 and circular n. 40 of 27 July 2021 of the General Secretariat and the indications of the Ministry of Health the Parco archeologico del Colosseo, in order to address the epidemiological emergency from Covid19, applies the following measures for visitors from the countries belonging to the lists A and C (the lists are downloadable from the website
www.viaggiaresicuri.it/
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation):

access is allowed only to persons holding one of the Covid19 Green Pass certifications (in digital or paper format) able to attest โ€“ together with a valid identity document -:

  • that they have had at least one dose of one of the vaccines authorised by the EMA or AIFA (Comirnaty by Pfizer-BioNtech, Vaxzevria by Astrazeneca, Janssen by Johnson & Johnson and Moderna)
  • or have tested negative to a PCR or rapid lateral flow test in the previous 48 hours
  • or have recovered from Covid19 in the previous six months.
COVID-19 Green Pass is not required for children exempt from the vaccination campaign (under 12 years of age) and those exempt on the basis of appropriate medical certification.

Following the order of the Ministry of Health of 29 July 2021, certificates issued by the health authorities of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (including Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and British bases on the island of Cyprus) are equivalent to those of the European Union for access to activities and services on Italian territory such as indoor restaurants, museums, cinemas. They can be submitted in paper or digital format, in compliance with the requirements established by the circular letter of 30 June 2021 on equivalence of vaccination and recovery certificates.

With reference to entries from the countries of Israel, Canada, Japan and the United States, it should be noted that in relation to vaccination certificates issued by the health authorities of these countries, in accordance with the provisions of EU Recommendation no. 2021/912 of 20 May 2021, they must include at least the following data:

  • identifiers of the person;
  • information on the type of vaccine and date(s) of administration.
With regard to the entry of residents of theRepublic of San Marinoย who have already undergone a vaccination cycle,ย 
the provisions relating to the Green Pass shall not apply until 15 October 2021
.

Please note that certificates shall be accepted if they are in Italian, English, French or Spanish. If the certificate is not issued in bilingual form and not in one of the four languages indicated in the Ordinance of the Minister of Health of 18 June 2021, it must be accompanied by a legal translation.

This documentation must be shown at the entrances to the Parco archeologico del Colosseo, at the same time as the temperature measurement.
