Country soup (Zuppa contadina)

ingredients (4 people)

stale bread
beans: 400 grams
olive oil
lettuce: 4 bunches
concentrated tomatoes
garlic: 1 slice
celery
salt
pepper


preparing

Fry slightly garlic and celery.
Before garlic gets brown add lettuce cut into pieces.

Fry it slightly at a low fire and add tomato dressing and water if necessary.

When juice is dense enough add the previously boiled beans, salt and pepper.

Serve them with sliced stale bread.
