New managed apartment by From Home to Rome - holiday rentals in Rome - Via della Frezza

Welcome to Frezza, From Home to Rome’s newest managed property, where authenticity meets tranquility. Tucked away in the heart of Rome, this hidden gem defies expectations. While the city center is often associated with hustle, bustle, and noise, Via della Frezza offers a delightful departure from the ordinary.

Frezza - Via della Frezza - holiday rental by From Home to Rome

Located in an otherwise inconspicuous alleyway that connects two of the world famous shopping streets Tridente (Via del Corso and Via di Ripetta), this apartment is practically door to door with the new Bulgari Hotel, but you will pay a fraction of those prices for your stay here!

In the olden days, this street was the residence of a noble family, with carriages passing by, executions (yes) and everything you’d expect to find in a history book. In the 1930s, Fascist bureaucrats, under orders from Mussolini, tore this area of the city apart. One of the few buildings to survive this destruction could be your home for your Roman vacation: an unusual palazzo, originally built in the 1600s, where there is only one apartment per floor. You’ll enjoy unparalleled privacy!

Step into this Roman sanctuary where you can recharge after a day of exploration and feel the warmth of Italian hospitality. The interiors combine modern comfort with timeless elegance. Sink into plush beds, sip an espresso in the cozy kitchenette, and marvel at this unusual corner of the Eternal City, where you can still find authentic restaurants a stone’s throw from the main sights, family-run businesses, and beautiful, unspoiled corners for your photographs.

Frezza, which can sleep up to four people and does not have an elevator, is more than just a place to rest your head—it’s a strategic gateway. Within walking distance, you’ll find iconic landmarks like the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, or the Ara Pacis and the Mausoleum of Augustus. And when you’re ready to venture further, the nearby Piazza del Popolo beckons, with its access to the Villa Borghese park.
