The Directorate of the Parco archeologico del Colosseo, in collaboration with the CINECA Interuniversity Consortium, has reopened the opportunity for registration with the online accreditation system for the year 2025, intended for the issuance of a free access pass for tourist guides in possession of professional qualification.
The procedure involves submitting the application on the PICA platform
https://pica.cineca.it/parcocolosseo/guide/
by 1 p.m. on May 12, 2025 and receiving an Access Pass in place of the free guide day ticket.Tourist guides who in recent years have already received accreditation and have obtained the Access Pass will not have to resubmit the application. The validity of all previously issued Passes is automatically extended to December 31, 2025.
Accredited guides who request it can be included in the dedicated newsletter and receive information on the news of the Parco archeologico del Colosseo.
For tour guides who prefer not to request the free access pass, it will be possible to continue to use individual free access tickets or the free guide ticket (valid for a maximum of three daily accesses, bookable online) as required by law.
