Farmers' market in Rome near Circus Maximus
Rome's Campagna Amica market is open at weekends.A weekly farmers' market located a stone's throw from the Circus Maximus in Rome takes place on Saturdays and Sundays at Via di San Teodoro 74.Dozens of food producers and farmers sell their 0-km fresh foods including fruit, vegetables, cheeses, olive oil, cured meats, honey, organic wine, sausages and truffles.
Customers can talk directly to the farmers about the food which is all produced in the countryside around Rome, in the Lazio region surrounding the capital.
The bustling market has food trucks and "farmer chefs" who prepare meals on-site, which you can enjoy in the outdoor courtyard.
There are also occasional events including food tastings, talks and children's activities at the market which is open from 08.00-15.00 on Saturday to Sunday.
