On 14 February and 16 Febryary 2026, the Domus Aurea will be closed to the public in compliance with the order issued by the Mayor of Rome prohibiting access, transit or circulation in green areas, gardens, parks and historic villas and prohibiting any activity in wooded areas.

The Domus Aurea is located within Colle Oppio Park, whose gates were not opened this morning and therefore cannot be accessed.
