Due to a failure in external electrical substations, not related to the PArCo systems, the areas of the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill were without electricity until 2.45 pm.

This condition did not allow the required safety standards to be ensured.

The Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill remained closed until the full restoration of the power supply.

The Colosseum and the Domus Aurea were  regularly open.

Visitors holding a ticket for 19 April will be guaranteed access to the Roman Forum – Palatine Hill archaeological area on 20 and 21 April.
