Due to a failure in external electrical substations, not related to the PArCo systems,the areas of the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill
are currently without electricity.

This condition does not allow the required safety standards to be ensured.

The Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill will remain closed until the full restoration of the power supply.

The Colosseum and the Domus Aurea are regularly open.

Visitors holding a ticket for 19 April will be guaranteed access to the Roman Forum – Palatine Hill archaeological area on 20 and 21 April.

Visitors who wish to cancel their entire visit (Colosseum and Roman Forum – Palatine Hill archaeological area) may request a refund by writing to
