On 20 June 2026, Rome will celebrate the 32nd edition of Roma Pride with a vibrant demonstration of visibility, rights and LGBTQIA+ pride. As it has for more than three decades, the city will come alive with a colourful parade featuring floats, music and dancers.
The theme of Roma Pride 2026 is expressed through the slogan “La Repubblica è di chi la abita” — “The Republic belongs to those who live in it.”
Marking the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic, this year’s edition draws inspiration from the values of the Constitution: freedom, equality, dignity and self-determination. The message underlines that citizenship and fundamental rights must belong to everyone, including LGBTQIA+ people, without discrimination or exclusion.
The official campaign also highlights the need to defend LGBTQIA+ rights at a time when communities in Italy and abroad continue to face marginalisation, violence and attacks on trans and non-binary identities.
The official ambassadors of Roma Pride 2026 are singers Levante, Francesca Michielin and Margherita Vicario, three artists joining the event as allies of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Pride Croisette opens its doors from 11:30 a.m., kicking off a packed programme of events that will lead the city towards the Roma Pride Grand Parade.
The parade will kick off at 3pm from Piazza della Repubblica, winding its way through the city and past iconic landmarks such as the Colosseum. The festivities will conclude at Viale delle Terme di Caracalla (Pride Croisette).
The celebrations will begin on Friday, 19 June with Amiche del Roma Pride, a special concert at Atlantico Live opening the Roma Pride weekend. The evening will bring together Levante, Francesca Michielin, Margherita Vicario, Sarah Toscano, Malika Ayane and Ariete for a collective celebration of music, freedom, visibility and LGBTQIA+ rights. The concert starts at 9pm, on the eve of the main parade.
In the weeks leading up to the parade, the Pride Croisette returns to the Baths of Caracalla from 28 May to 20 June 2026. Now in its tenth edition, the free festival brings together live music, performances, comedy, talks, political debates, nightlife and community events in one of Rome’s most atmospheric summer settings.
This year’s programme features artists, activists and personalities including BigMama, Federica Cacciola, Fabio Canino, Serena Bortone, Marco Bianchi, Pierluca Mariti, Chiara Galeazzi, Karma B and many others. Roma Pride ambassador Margherita Vicario officially opens the Croisette with a special live performance.
