Who says you have to leave Rome for a full day of relaxation? Set in the green of the , just minutes from the city centre, Adoro Hotel is the ideal retreat to step away from the daily rush. And this summer there’s one more reason to treat yourself: the new , set in the hotel garden and open to non-guests as well since last July.

It’s the first pool by the BZAR hotels group in Rome, another addition that reinforces the wellness character of this address overlooking the timeless charm of the Regina Viarum: a true urban oasis where you can spend the day between water and greenery, far from the traffic running just a few kilometres away.

A day pass for non-guests costs €40 per person and includes a sunbed, pool towel and flip-flops (parasol subject to availability). Access is by reservation only (and while spaces last) by writing to , with confirmation within 24 hours. Good to know: outside food and drink are not allowed, and entry is reserved for adults.

After a day by the pool, the break can continue at the table. Elisia, the restaurant of Adoro Hotel, is open for dinner every day, including for non-guests, from 7.30pm to 11pm. The kitchen follows traditional Roman cuisine, built on fresh, seasonal, zero-mile ingredients from local producers, with aromatic herbs grown in the garden next to the restaurant. Every dish is a tribute to the land: respect for tradition and a love of quality. Those who prefer to be guided can choose Il Percorso Elisia, the four-course tasting menu at €35 per person ().

Guests at Adoro Hotel also have access to the wellness area: the Urban SPA, with whirlpool, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and sensory shower, plus a well-equipped fitness centre. The hotel also offers dedicated wellness packages, turning a stay into a genuine restorative break steps from the Appian Way.
