Oasis confirm two Rome concerts for 2027 tour
The band lit up the sky over the Stadio Olimpico with a drone display on Sunday night before confirming two dates in the Italian capital on 29 and 30 July 2027.Oasis have confirmed they will play two shows at Rome's Stadio Olimpico next summer, marking the band's first Italian dates in almost two decades.
The confirmation came on Monday afternoon when Oasis revealed the Rome dates - 29 and 30 July 2027 - as part of their European tour.
Ahead of the official announcement, on Sunday night the band lit up the sky above the Stadio Olimpico, using a fleet of drones to spell out their black-and-white logo, mirroring an identical display staged hours earlier over Manchester's Etihad Stadium, the Gallagher brothers' home ground.
This followed weeks of mounting speculation after a cryptic teaser video showed a Vespa weaving through the streets of Trastevere, one in a series of city-by-city clues the band had been dropping on social media ahead of the full tour announcement.

Rome's councillor for major events, sport, tourism and fashion, Alessandro Onorato, shared the drone footage on social media, writing "Gli Oasis a Roma" and thanking the band for choosing the city.
The capital's administration had been working for months to secure the band's return, with Liam Gallagher himself having already hinted at the visit in the spring, telling a fan in Rome there was "no doubt" about a 2027 show, and later confirming it more directly at the Venice Film Festival in September. The Rome dates form part of a wider European leg of the tour that also takes in Paris and Munich, alongside a run of UK shows opening in Glasgow. It will be the band's first appearance in Italy since 2009, and comes two years after Liam and Noel Gallagher's high-profile 2025 reunion, which relaunched Oasis with a hugely successful run of shows across the UK and Ireland.
Fans must register for tickets before Thursday 17 September 17.00 Italian time. Registration is open now.Successful registration will lead to a unique, non-transferable code to access an allocated sale window, with fans then informed of which window they can access and at what time.
There will be no general sale or public presales outside of the official process. Further information is available on the official Oasis website.
The Olimpico dates add to a packed summer of major concerts in the capital, which will also see Harry Styles perform in the city in August 2027.
