It is pending further instructions from Italy's minister of culture, Alessandro Giuli.The extension means all admissions to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and Domus Aurea scheduled for Friday 25 September will not go ahead. PArCo described the measure as exceptional and said it would not be possible to grant access on any of the three affected days – 23, 24 or 25 September – nor to make individual exceptions. Refunds and practical informationVisitors holding tickets for 25 September do not need to apply separately for a refund. PArCo said reimbursements for all affected bookings would be processed automatically, and asked ticket-holders to avoid sending enquiries, warning that this could slow down the administrative process already under way. The park said its staff were working to process affected bookings "as promptly as possible" and thanked visitors for their patience while the procedures are completed.
