Anti-smog traffic measures in Rome

Rome bans most polluting vehicles from driving in city on 18 and 19 February.Rome has banned the most polluting vehicles from circulating within the city’s fascia verde or green belt (the area inside the GRA ring road) on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 February as part of anti-smog measures.The city says the restrictions are necessary to reduce pollution levels which currently exceed the smog limit.
