San Pietro in Vincoli
Monti [R.I]
Esquilino [1E]
It is now surrounded by the chain of dwelling houses of ancient origin inside the green park of Oppio.
The name of these houses derives from "vincula" that San Pietro was enchained with.
In the interior one can find the famous Michelangelo's Moses.
It was said that Michelangelo at the end of his work found it so perfect that stroke it with the hammer and said: "Why don't you speak?"
