Based on the banks of the Tiber in the heart of Rome, Baja is a restaurant, cocktail bar, event venue and set on a historic river barge.

An escape from the city without leaving it, Baja offers a peaceful setting where the beauty of Rome and the slow rhythm of the river create a unique atmosphere. With its Italian cuisine, wine selection, cocktails and music programme, it feels like a holiday away from the city, right in the middle of it.

Baja is set across two main floors on a boat moored along the Tiber. During the summer season, the ground floor, open to the public, offers outdoor dining in both the restaurant area and the aperitif area. Upstairs, the private events space features floor-to-ceiling windows and a retractable roof, creating a bright and versatile setting for special occasions.

Music is also part of the Baja experience, with a weekly programme in the lounge bar featuring DJ sets, piano bar nights and karaoke. The updated schedule can be found on their Instagram page, .

Quality and freshness are at the heart of Baja’s restaurant. The kitchen follows a seasonal philosophy, focusing on local, organic and farm-to-table products sourced from trusted producers and local markets. Baja is open all day long to offer a full River Experience – from lunch to aperitivo and dinner, with the possibility to enjoy signature cocktails at the Lounge Bar after dark.

Every Sunday from 12:30 PM, guests can enjoy a fixed-menu on board, combining great food with the charm of the Tiber River setting.
