From May 15 to September 5, 2026, live music returns to one of Rome’s most enchanting summer settings with the 10th edition of Village Celimontana. Held inside the historic , in the heart of the city, the festival brings over 100 free concerts to Rome, with a rich programme of jazz, swing, manouche, rock’n’roll, Brazilian rhythms, dance nights and family-friendly events.

Set in one of Rome’s most elegant villas, just a short walk from the and the Celio district, Village Celimontana has become a summer institution for locals and visitors alike. Its open-air stage hosts a varied line-up of Italian and international artists, making it one of the best places in Rome to enjoy live music under the stars.

Among the highlights of the summer programme is the Roman Classic Jazz Festival, curated by Lino Patruno and scheduled from August 19 to 22, followed by the Gipsy Mini Festival from August 26 to 28, dedicated to Django Reinhardt and the world of manouche jazz. One of the most anticipated guests is Tchavolo Schmitt, a true legend of international gipsy jazz.

Village Celimontana will also host regular weekly formats throughout the season. Every Monday, Claudio Gregori, known as Greg, takes over the stage with Greg Ogni LunEdì, offering a mix of music, comedy, rock’n’roll, swing and country. Tuesdays are dedicated to Swing Swing Swing, with free beginner dance classes followed by live concerts and social dancing. Sundays bring the energy of Bevo Solo Rock’n’Roll, a 1950s-inspired evening with dance lessons and live bands.

At lunchtime on Sundays, the festival also presents Brunch Storia e Musica, combining live music with stories and anecdotes about great artists.

The line-up includes names such as Max Ionata, Damon Brown, Massimo Moriconi, Jean Sebastien Simonoviez, Stefano Reali, Giorgio Rosciglione, Cristiana Polegri, Les Chats Noirs, Kisito Jazz Band, I Punti Neri with Giacomo Poretti, Max Paiella, Lallo Circosta and I Fusi Orari, among many others.
