Napoli celebrate fourth Serie A title
Napoli edge out Inter to clinch fourth Scudetto.Naples erupted in fireworks on Friday night after local team Napoli clinched the Serie A title, edging out Inter Milan thanks to a 2-0 home victory over Cagliari.In a thrilling end to the season, Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku scored a goal each for Napoli, knocking Inter into second place by one point despite a 2-0 win against Como.
It was the fourth serie A win for Napoli and their second Italian championship title in three seasons after lifting the cup in 2023.

The club won the Scudetto for the first time in 1987 and again in 1990 when Argentine legend Diego Maradona led the team to victory.
The result on Friday night was also a record for Napoli manager Antonio Conte, who is the first coach to win the Serie A with three clubs after earning titles with Juventus (2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14) and with Inter during the 2020-21 season.
The victory was met with scenes of euphoria in Naples as delirious fans took to the streets to celebrate late into the night.
