Beans with pigskin (Fagioli con le cotiche)

beans: 500 grams
ham cotiche: 300 grams

Brown up in the pan ham grated with garlic, parsley, basil and chopped onion.
Add peeled and chopped tomatoes and salt, spice them with pepper. Add boiled and drained beans (cannellini o borlotti). Then add pigskin without bristles and boil them for 15 minutes in a small quantity of water.
Cover them up and cook it for about 15 minutes. If you use dry beans you should leave them in the water before boiling.
